I use science to not only diagnose problems, but also to prescribe solutions. Rather than assuming where practitioners would like support, I immerse myself in their organizations — conducting site visits, talking to students, going on ride alongs —to learn firsthand about the cultures of their organizations and about the perspectives and needs of the individuals within them. I believe in listening as much as I talk. My research background combined with my real-world experience in a diverse range of settings uniquely position me to foster meaningful organizational change.
